Candida Albicans: I met Jackie quite e few months after being diagnosed with chronic candidiasis. I had already gone through some treatments that, although beneficial in some ways, hadn't really solved any of the issues that were at the root of this infection and had left me as weak as ever with little or no confidence in myself or in the fact that I would recover from it. I read about Jackie in an article about candida on one of the Candida Society's newsletters and decided I HAD to meet her. It was the best thing I've done in my life. Hayfever: I would like to say thank you for your help and kindness over the summer months this year.
I have been suffering with bad hayfever for many years since a young child. Very bad irritating eyes, runny nose, sneezing and general feeling like I had got a bad cold. I was recommended to Jackie by a work colleague she helped a few months ago and so gave her a call. Jackie was so helpful and understanding and immediately wanted to help. Allergies: My seven year old son has suffered from anaphylaxis to nuts, dairy, eggs and kiwi fruit since he was a baby. This meant keeping away from even traces of these foods and our home was definitely a nut free zone. Friends, family and school were all ‘trained’ in thinking twice before bringing any food near him. Everywhere he went, from school to trips out, he always carried his epipens and his own food bag. Especially difficult were friends’ birthday parties, where he could not eat any of the party food, or the tempting birthday cakes.

Meeting Jackie quite simply changed our lives. Performing NAET and NMT was simple and non intrusive. Jackie explained that the body was wrongly ‘programmed’ so it mistook simple foods to be harmful and so reacted severely to avoid it entering the body. NAET and NMT was a form of ‘re-programming’ the body to realise that the foods were not harmful at all. After the first session, Jackie showed us how to continue the treatment for each allergen at home. After only about 3 subsequent sessions with Jackie, my son was able to try milk products and egg. It has been amazing that he can now eat cakes and egg pasta with no reaction. He now loves milk chocolate (unsurprisingly!), and enjoys cheese, although he sometimes gets an upset stomach after processed cheese, so we stick to organic. Even though we won’t be giving him nuts to eat, at least if he eats a product with traces of nut, we can rest assured that he will not have a major reaction.

Life now means a freedom from checking every food label, from asking to check the ingredients of a dish with the chef in a restaurant, from remembering to pack his own food for a journey, and best of all, freedom to eat party food and plenty of birthday cake! AP Eastbourne

Pet Allergy: Jackie has done wonderful things for my health and made something possible I never believed would be. I first cam to see Jackie for help in April 07 in the hope that she might be able to help resolve my severe dog allergy. My allergy was so serious that the presence of dog hair in the same room as me would make me wheeze and a dog licking me was enough to banish me to bed with bad breathing, vomiting and a terrible migraine for the next two days.

My allergy only appeared when I turned 18 and I desperately missed animal company, especially dogs, to whom I was particulary allergic. I tried absolutely everything I could to overcome or at least control this allergy. Convential allergy medicine, homeopathy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, an expensive air conditioning system, and diet, but sadaly all failed me in my search for a cure or relief. I had resigned myself to a pet-ree life when my partner and I were offered the dog of our dreams for rehoming. One last frantic search on the Internet for some shred of hope brought up Jackie's name. I had never come across the treatment she used for allergies and thought it sounded too good to be true. After all the false hopes I had experienced I really had no expectation that the treatment would work - I condsidered myself an allergy sufferer who was beyond any help and was really just trying this last option so that I could at least tell myself that I had tried possible before rejecting the beautiful dog we wanted to give a home to so much.

Jackie was professional and caring right from the start and after one treatment from her my allergy VANISHED - it was miraculous. I would never have believed it except that it happened to me! Candida: I would like to say thankyou for your help and support over the last few months. I had been feeling awful for a very long time and after numerous inconclusive tests with my GP, I turned to alternative therapy namely, Kinesiology. Jackie diagnosed my problem " overgrowth of candida" within an hour and put me on an elimination diet which I have been on ever since. Nut Allergy: Several years ago, and quite some way into adult life, I developed a nut allergy, my reaction was quite severe with my throat swelling up and a rash developing on my body, I had great difficulty breathing and had to be treated in hospital. Following the only advice given by the hospital, I began living my life checking all food packaging to see its contents and avoiding foods containing traces of nuts.

After a chance meeting with Jackie, she informed me of the NAET treatment and how it could assist. I completed 4 treatments with Jackie and by the final treatment I was able to have a whole Brazil nut (the nut I was most allergic to) rested on my lip without any reaction at all. I am now free to eat foods which contain traces of nuts without worrying about my symptoms re-occurring. This has been most useful to me when travelling abroad, as I do not have to worry about every dish which I choose to eat, where I have less control and understanding over the ingredients used. Stop smoking: Dear Jackie, It's not often that I put fingers to keyboard to write a thank you message these days. However, it's now been 12-weeks since I first visited you for the Bio-resonance therapy, and I still haven't smoked! The thing that I find most amazing after being a 20ish-a-day smoker for 22-years is that I've found the whole experience relatively easy. Granted, I did find the first week or so difficult, but following the"top-up" its been pretty much plain sailing. In fact, I'd say that I genuinely feel that I've been a non-smoker for much longer than 12-weeks, which is quite a remarkable feeling.

I make no apologies for my enthusiastic words because the people who know me well enough would tell you that I had absolutely zero willpower when it came to quitting and I had, over the years, also tried every other form of therapy to help me quit. To set the tone even better I was one of those smokers whose entire day revolved around planning the next smoke - I didn't realize how much time I wasted smoking! So, the fact that I've found quitting so easy is even more remarkable. The benefits I have seen so far are: improvement of breathing, less irritable, better taste buds and sense of smell. There are other minor improvements also, but I'll see how these develop. As someone who never really thought they'd quit smoking, your therapy has been a life changing experience for me. I am now nearly 37 years old, have a fantastic wife and two cracking little boys, who I can now enjoy without the nagging doubt that smoking might end it all a bit to prematurely. I know that you were only doing the job I paid you for doing, but without your confidence and expertise on therapy's such as Bio-resonance the service you offer would not be available and I would still be asking for ashtrays in restaurants!

Allergy: For the last couple of years my son has displayed asthmatic symptoms whilst playing sport in early autumn. The symptoms were severe enough that I was contacted by his school and consulted a paediatrician. All tests came back negative. Although I felt the symptoms were allergy related I had no proof. This year my son was so frustrated by his symptoms that, following a recommendation, I contacted Jackie. After one session my son has had no repeat attacks. Back pain: I had been in terrible paid for seven months and had to give up work. I tried various therapies (including two months with a local chiropracter, after which the pain was as bad as before the treatment). I was pretty desperate when I read an article in Saga magazine in summer about Bowen Technique. I phoned the given number and was given the name of a local therapist, Jackie Reader, and, in considerable paid with sciatica (and a probable slipped disc) and inflammation, had 3-4 treatments and all the pain and discomfort disappeared! I'm now back to work and have a regular, enjoyable exercise programme, am active and happy. I could not be more delighted as Jackie gave me my life back and I am deeply grateful. Allergies: I have for many years suffered with regular sneezing fits and have generally had congestion problems in the ear, nose and throat areas which left me with a lot of catarrh and gunk. I was always sniffing and blowing my nose which, if not unpleasant enough, also gave me headaches. As a child, I had the standard hospital allergy tests which, form memory (I was 10 or so) revealed that I suffered from hay fever and had a dust allergy. I had been living off antihistamines for most of my life which left me drowsy. The antihistamines were not entirely successful either, especially early mornings where I used to wake up completely bunged-up. To tell you the truth, I was sceptical about alternative therapies having been brought up to see doctors all of my life. However, I thought I would give Jackie Reader at Solar Health a go following a number of recommendations and I am now happy to eat my words. Jackie Reader identified various allergies (dust allergies particularly (primarily bedroom dust) but also more specific hay fever diagnosis, grass not pollen) and following their identification my ear, nose and throat areas have improved and my general bunged-up feeling has all but disappeared. Polymyalgia and Candida: I cannot thank you enough for your help - I feel so well and it must be nearly 20 years since I felt this well. Having had polymyalgia for three years, I spent the first eighteen months on steroids before weaning myself off them because of the side effects. This meant the pain all came back with a vengeance. I went to Jackie Reader and she found that I had candida and we started to work on clearing this. The candida must have been dragging me down and down all that time and I dread to think how I would have ended up if I had not spoken to Ken McKenziemy osteopath, and he had not told me about Jackie Reader. Food allergies: Over the last fifteen years I have suffered with multiple food allergies which made my life somewhat of a nightmare - I was eventually only eating yogurt and chicken. I have consulted a large number of health shops who carry out allergy testing with no positive results, I went to Guys hospital who decided it was candida, which reacts to yeast and sugar and as these are found in most foods I lived on Piriton. Dairy allergy: My son Brendan had a lactose allergy that if he ever had cows milk or products that contained milk e.g yoghurt or chocolate. It would result in him having severe stomach cramps, a very green mucous running from his nose, and extremely loose and offensive smelling stools that would be so loose he would not be able to make it to the toilet. He had this from the age of two and despite being a large baby (9 pounds 5ozs) and also being chubby he became extremely thin, his behaviour was also affected and he would have low concentration and be disruptive. I met Jackie on a course and happened to mention my sons allergy (he is now 8), and Jackie explained she could treat him through me. I took a lock of Brendan's hair and some cheese to the course the following day. Jackie done some muscle testing on me with Brendan's hair next to my skin so I was a surrogate, I had to hold the cheese in my hand for half an hour after Jackie had done some movement of my muscles. Jackie later put Brendans hair through her Bio-resonance machine and e-mailed me the list of medication he should take. Brendan took the three lots of tablets for three months, and during that time he had some milk products and the symptoms were less severe. At easter he actually had easter eggs for the first time in years ! He is able to have lactose without any mucous from his nose or bowels and his concentration is much better he is doing well at school and the teachers have noticed a difference in his behaviour. He is absoloutley delighted, he still drinks soya milk as he now does not like the taste of cows milk as he has been drinking soya milk for so long, but he is able to eat other products that previously caused him pain and discomfort. I had never heard of the treatment and found it difficult to beleive it could work without Brendan being seen by Jackie herself, but the proof is in front of my eyes and I am so grateful that my son does not have to suffer and he is putting on weight and does not complain of pains in his muscles any more!!!!!!!!!! Endometriosis: I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis three months ago and I was told that surgery was my only option. I was in so much pain with cramping, constant exhastion and depression I was in despair and desperate. I was all booked in for surgery but cancelled it when I was told there was no 'cure' and I either had to have surgery for the rest of my life or take very strong drugs that would give me nasty side effects. I was determined to sort it in alternative ways. I did a liver flush as advised by Jackie, and also took supplements to kick-start my energy levels. I also had five sessions of Elibra, and the results in two months were just incredible. It's still early days but this month I had no cramps whatsoever, my constant exhaustion has vanished, and my upset stomach and feelings of nausea and dizziness also vanished. Infantile Acid Reflux: I went to Jackie Reader for help as my son had been diagnosed by a pediatrician at Pembury Hospital with "reflux" at the age of 3 months, and after weeks on 2 different medication there was no sign of any improvement. Upon our first visit Jackie identified a dairy intolerance with my son, and after just one treatment he was cured of this intolerance and a significant improvement has been noticed. Since the treatment we have stopped one of the medication altogether, and the other we have significantly reduced with a view to stopping completely in the near future. Jackie Reader has made our son a much happier baby since his initial treatment and with just 2 follow up appointments he has improved so much in himself and with his health. IVF/PREGNANCY: We had several sessions of kinesiology and Bowen Technique with Jackie before starting a course of IVF treatment. While hormone treatment needed some adjustment, egg collection went smoothly. Then my husband's sperm sample was shown to have 4 times more sperm than his previous sample. The

count went from 5 million per ml to 20 million per ml. We went ahead with the ICSI procedure as planned but the embryologist said that the count was actually good enough to do IVF next time if we wanted. We were lucky enough to have 2 good quality embryos transferred, followed by a positive pregnancy test. We both feel that our treatments with Jackie contributed positively to the success of our first IVF cycle. Mr and Mrs H.

NUT ALLERGY: My daughter first developed a mild nut allergy at the age of 6 which became progressively worse until, at the age of 9, she was assessed by an allergy specialist and diagnosed as having a “moderate” nut allergy. This was frightening for both of us as it meant she had to carry two Epipens at all times and we had to be vigilant when shopping to avoid anything with a trace of nut, ie. fresh bread from the bakery, chocolate, even pasta sauces contained traces of nut. If she accidentally ate anything with a nut trace her lips and tongue would swell, her chest would become tight and she would have difficulty breathing, never actually going into anaphylactic shock but with the constant fear that this may happen.

Having got used to this way of life for a year she started reacting to other foods – kiwi and coconut. I decided to look for help and was introduced to Jackie Reader, she came highly recommended so I took my daughter to see her. After only 6 treatments my daughter can now eat ANYTHING with a nut trace. On her last treatment, whole nuts were placed on her lips without even a tingle!

Our lives are back to normal; she still avoids whole nuts but can now relax around food again. My daughter starts secondary school this year and with a canteen full of tempting food it is an enormous relief to know that she will no longer react severely to any food containing nut traces. CANDIDA: In March of 2005 I visited my GP as I was concerned at being 2 stone overweight, constantly feeling tired and frequently suffering from heart burn and thrush on my tongue.
